Interests can come from randomness. That means random days doing random things. Why did I become interested in art? Because art can encompass so many different mediums it can keep the thoughts busy consistently. The thought is not always to remain busy but what artistically will you come across in a day? A daily walk can make you come across sculpture art. A random jog can make you come across landscape art. By the time you return from a daily exercise, you may have encountered an abundance of mediums of art. This abundance of art makes for a very busy art aficionado. Also, an actual artists who creates their own sculptures would not be able to resist the fact that all they see are sculptures whom either are similar then their art or very different.
